Description

This course is focused on review the current state of knowledge in the field of Protein Microarrays. The course will provide the opportunity for leading scientist of ProteoRed to meet for training and discussions on the most recent developments in this area. The main objective of the conference will be to improve the capabilities and competitiveness of Spanish proteomics facilities in the area of protein microarrays. The meeting will be highly interdisciplinary through the participation of speakers with various background and research interest in order to define the state of the area and future potential applications of the protein microarrays at the different proteomics facilities. In further editions of this course, the next goals will be to establish well-coordinate and structured protocols for deciding the strategy that will be followed by each node and ProteoRed as a whole for providing proteomics services in Spain. The final objective is to increase the quality and the number of protein microarrays services.

Entry level for students (target audience):
Basic knowledge in the area.
