Description

The Proteomics Core Facility of the CIPF is currently attended by three people. We are equipped with the systems and software necessary for protein analysis by one and two dimensional gel electrophoresis, including DIGE, as well as for the automatic excision and digestion of gel plugs. We have two tandem mass spectrometers, a MALDI TOF/TOF and a QSTAR-XL, both from Applied Biosystems. Associated to these instruments there are nanoHPLC systems from LC Packings capable of performing one and two dimensional chromatography. The microfraction collector Probot (LC Packings) is connected to the system dedicated to LC MALDI.

Description

The Proteomics Facility at the University of Alicante is a scientific and technical service jointly offered by the Proteomics research group, leaded by Dr. Roque Bru Martinez, and the Instrumental Research Facilities (SSTTI). Proteomics Technology Platform is composed of 1D and 2D electrophoresis (IPGphor, vertical electrophoresis for mini, midi and maxi gels), visible and fluorescence image aquisition (ImageScanner and Thyphoon 9410), image analysis (Progest Samespots, Nonlinear Dynamics), in-gel digestion (ProGest), MALDI target spotting (Tecan), mass spectrometry (MALDI-ToF, nano2DLC-ESI-ion trap MS/MS) and database search (MASCOT, SpectrumMill).

Description

The Proteomics Facility of the SCSIE, University of Valencia, is currently attended by two people. The objective of the Proteomics Unit is to guarantee the technological support to permit the scientific community the analysis of the proteome.
Proteomics Facility include equipment necessary for High Resolution Bidimensional electrophoresis, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and ESI-nanospray ion-trap mass spectrometry.
