Annual Proteomics Symposium: Unveiling the complexity of the cell proteome

Publication Date: viernes 13 de octubre de 2017

The Annual Proteomics Symposium organized by the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) with the collaboration of the Catalan Society of Biology (SCB) brings together leading researchers in the proteomics field to discuss the application of innovative mass spectrometric techniques to decipher the complexity of life.

Recent research will be presented on the elucidation of the mechanisms of action of small molecule inhibitors in cancer cells, the study of protein phosphorylation as a regulatory mechanism of cellular functions in health and disease, and the use of high-resolution mass spectrometry to sequence ancient proteomes recovered from paleontological and cultural heritage materials.

The conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain, November 10th 2017 at the PRBB Auditorium.

Eduard SABIDÓ, Head of CRG/UPF Proteomics Unit
